Hello,

Since we will doing the draw tomorrow noon I want to ask ALL of you who got a ticket to go check all your tickets to ensure that they match with what I have on the blog. I have checked and I believe everything is accurate. However, there are many tickets and many people so there are chances of mistakes.

I donated all the proceeds right away. We raised 2,363 which is a little less than 200,000yen. But i wanted to donate 200,000yen.. so i just paid the difference from my own pocket anyways.

I had issues with google check out to the Japanese Red Cross because you can donate a max of 50,000yen at once which is a little less than 500 USD. So i had to put it through as 4 separate payments. Imagine that! Google never anticipated anyone to donate more than 500 at once! I guess they didn't factor in the power of many people's kindness pooled together!

If you want to see detailed receipts, which I have, please flickr mail me! I will forward them to you, but I will blank out my credit card and my home address.

Note: Japanese Red Cross do not accept paypal. So i had to use my own credit card to donate first, then withdraw the money in paypal to my bank account then pay off the credit card. =)

PS: Will send an email out to all who got a ticket to notify them that I have donated. I know not everyone uses flickr or has me as friend on flickr!

Due to popular demands I will be adding another 300 tickets at $5 each! So more people can have a chance to take part in this great cause! I am truly, deeply touched by everyone and their support! The dolly community have so far shown compassion beyond anything I have seen in all my 6 years of collecting! Lets keep spreading the words and work together to raise another $1,250 for JAPAN!!! I know this is a very high target but there are SO MANY of us and when we work together we can really do anything!!

Hello all,

I am hosting a Charity Auction for Japan. I am going to donate my Brand New Matryoshka Maiden Blythe Doll for this purpose. I got this doll while i was studying in Japan 2 years ago. I thought i will keep it forever as a memorial of all the fond memories I have of japan. I lived in the Tohoku area (akita city) while i was there. I really love japan and it's people. Over the last few days I haven't been able to sleep well or eat well! My heart is really broken and I always worry about all my friends in Japan. So far, I have received all good news from my friends over in Japan, but I know there are many who are not as fortunate. I really want to raise $1,000 by selling these raffle tickets. Selling 200 tickets at $5 each. I have carefully chosen my charity. They will be going to: Japanese Red Cross Society. The funds will go directly to Japan! Which is the most important for me!!

Thank you all for your compassion for all the people of Japan.

I want to thank you all for this wonderful kindness. I can't even begin to say how happy and touched I am. I'm actually crying right now. =(

I know i was going to only sell 450 tickets, but last night SO MANY people just sent me paypal and I didn't know we were over 450 until this morning when i tallied everything up. I didn't have to turn these people away. Sorry for adding an extra 19 tickets without notice to those who already purchased tickets. I know it lowers your chance of winning the prize, but i know at this point it's not even the prize anymore. I feel like I already won the most precious prize out of this whole raffle which is feeling like I made a difference! If i were to do this own my own, I would never have been able to raise so much money! Thank you to ALL of you from the bottom of my heart! I really appreciate everything! First outfits

This is my first time making outfits for sale. I've spent tones of time planning and making these to make sure everything is perfect to the "t". Photos will come up later, but i just wanted to talk about the process of making these dresses.

Respect
First off I want to say all the designers who make clothes for dollies and have new stuff very often has all my respect. I didn't realize how long it takes to plan, make and sell an outfit. I started off with just cutting out the pattern and then the sewing. But then after the sewing there's the packing where you have to run around and get material and make the package look nice. Then you gotta take photos of it! wow.. so much work and the outcome is a tiny tiny dress.

Design
The dresses this time are not my own pattern. It's entirely from Dolly Dolly magazine patterns with lots of tweaks here and there. For example, the sleeves I choose to do a long sleeve cause it's winter. These dresses are inspired from an anime I was watching at the time.
